摘要：改革开放以来，扬中地区的民营经济不断发展壮大并形成一定规模。随着经济体制改革的深化，竞争的日趋激烈，市场对产品的品种质量档次要求的提高，扬中的民营企业必须与时俱进进行科技创新以适应知识经济与经济全球化的到来。

    本文首先介绍了扬中地区民营企业的历史、现状。其次对民营企业的科技创新的模式、影响投资决策的因素进行阐述。再次以案例为蓝本，分析扬中民营企业科技创新的主观客观环境、指出扬中民营企业在科技创新和投资决策发面的问题并试提出相应的解决方案，浅谈在目前的形式下，扬中的民营企业应当如何进行科技创新并做出正确的投资决策以确保企业的可持续发展。最后对研究的内容进行总结，概述扬中民营企业的发展前景。
