ABSTRACT:Toni Morrison was the only Afro-American woman writer who has received the Nobel Prize for literature; she played an important role in American literary field. Song of Solomon was her third novel. After the publication of Song of Solomon many scholars interpreted it from different angles, such as feminism, narrative mode, symbolism and magical realism etc. This paper aims to analyze anti-anthropocentrism, anti-androcentrism and the females’ living state of forbearance and struggle in this novel by using ecofeminism. It explores ecology, race and gender consciousness, discusses Toni Morrison’s ideal relationships between human and nature, the black and the white, female and male and attempts to help readers have a better understanding of the rich and colorful world which she presented for us.
