中文摘要：随着中国新课程改革的步伐,中国英语基础教育不断发展,教学方法也得以不断创新。故事教学法便是一种新型的英语教学法。故事教学法既符合新课标对小学英语教学的要求,又能最大限度地激发学生学习的主动性,提高学生学习热情和效率。本文首先阐述我国小学英语教学的现状和问题,论述了故事教学法在小学低中高年级的应用，分析了故事教学在小学英语教学实施中应该注意的问题，从而强调了故事教学法的重要性。最后，本文指出故事教学法的不足以及提出相关建议。
