Abstract: Wuthering Heights was written by Emily Bronte (1818-1848) who was a famous female novelist in Victorian age in England. By its enormous research value and wide range of supports from the readers, Wuthering Heights finally gained the world’s recognition. The novel depicted the love and revenge between Heathcliff and Catherine, which reflected the women’s status and rebel consciousness in Victorian age. Focused on feminism, the paper aims to analyze its background and developing stages. And by analyzing the feminist consciousness of Emily Bronte and the heroine Catherine, this paper aims to show Emily Bronte’s wish and demand in constructing women’s ideal lives.

摘要：艾米莉·勃朗特(1818-1848)是英国维多利亚时期著名女作家，她的巨著《呼啸山庄》以其巨大的研究价值和广泛的读者支持得到了世界的认可。小说讲述了希斯克利夫和凯瑟琳之间的爱恨情仇，折射出维多利亚时期女性的地位及反叛意识。论文从女性主义视角出发，阐释女性主义的背景及发展阶段，并通过分析艾米莉·勃朗特和女主角凯瑟琳的女性主义思想意识来揭示艾米莉·勃朗特倡导构建女性理想生活的愿望与诉求。
