Abstract: On the stage of globalization, the modern society is one with more and more intercultural communication. However, negative pragmatic transfer is used to be considered as a prime obstacle of target language learning and intercultural communication. This paper objectively classifies and analyses the negative pragmatic transfer and studies the pattern of message transfer in intercultural communication. Besides, it also researches the positive and negative influences of negative pragmatic transfer on the communication between Chinese and western cultures. In the end, the paper points out that the negative pragmatic transfer should be treated quite objectively and language learners should avoid its negative effect and take advantage of the positive effect to enhance the intercultural communication.

摘要：在全球化的背景下，现代社会是文化交融的社会，而语用负迁移常常被认为是阻碍学习者对目的语的习得，是导致跨文化交际出现失败的一个重要因素。本文对语用负迁移现象进行了归类和其成因的分析，研究了在跨文化言语交际过程中信息传递模式的特点。同时举例并分析了语用负迁移在中西方文化交际所存在的积极以及消极的影响，并指出应当正确客观地看待语用负迁移现象，加深对语用负迁移的了解，以便避免语用负迁移所带来的负面影响，利用其积极影响为跨文化交际的顺利进行做好铺垫。
