摘要:《如果我忘记你，巴格达》的主人公泽娜从伊拉克移居美国，为了适应美国生活，她从少年时代开始接受美式教育。然而英语是走出家门口后才使用的语言，回到家他们都用伊拉克语交流。双语的生活环境本身就是一种文化身份无法定位的表现，她的美式生活成了一种模拟人生，谱写了一曲“模拟人”的悲歌。为了生计和工作，也为了给故乡送去民主和自由，她作为一名战争中的译员重返故乡巴格达，然而人们很难接受她以这样的方式回归，尤其是家人的不理解让她深陷困境，翻译工作反而成了她忧愁的根源。面对战争带来的毁灭性灾难，面对居民那仇恨的目光，她的信念开始动摇，身份变得破碎。从此她开始了自己身份的重构过程。

ABSTRACT:“If I forget you, Baghdad,” the protagonist, Zane, who immigrated to the United States from Iraq, in order to adapt to American life, from a young age began to accept American education. However, English is a language out of the  door, communicating in Iraq language when they got home. Bilingual environment itself is a kind of cultural identity can’t locate . The performance of her American life becomes a SIMS, writing a “analog” elegy song . For living and work, also in order to send home to democracy and freedom, she as an interpreter returned to the hometown Baghdad in the war. But it was hard to accept her return in such a way, especially family did not understand her trouble. Translation work was the source of her sorrow. Faced with the devastating disaster brought about by the war, in the face of residents that hatred eyes, she began to shake the belief, identity become broken. From then on she began her identity reconstruction process.
