摘要：语言是歌曲的载体，方言则是民歌的载体，这种关系也就决定了方言与民歌有着不解之缘。特别是民歌，由于它是某一特定区域人们劳动、生活、情感、风情的反映，其依托的语音组织就是当地的方言，因此，演唱者要想在科学演唱的前提下不失原有民歌的韵味，就必须对当地方言的语音系统有所了解，充分认识“方言”在民族声乐中的地位。湖南民歌作为中国民歌的一个重要支流，历史悠久。湘方言作为我国七大方言之一，具有重要的地位和独特的魅力。研究湖南民歌中湖南方言的运用，对于正确理解方言对湖南民歌色彩的影响和作用，进而准确和细腻地处理湖南民歌中的方言，使演唱富于艺术感染力，具有重要的意义。

　　　本文阐述了湖南方言的分类及其特点，研究并举例分析了湖南方言在语音、词汇两种不同形式下如何运用于湖南民歌当中，并列举了方言在演唱民歌时的几种方式。

Abstract: Language is the carrier of the song, dialect is the carrier of folk songs, this relationshipwill determine the dialect and folk songs have a bond. Especially the songs, because it is the people working in a particular area, life,emotions, style reflected the voice of its organization is based on the local dialect. Therefore, the singer in order to concerts under the premise of the science without losing the charm of the original folk songs, to be the voice system on the local dialect understand, fully understand the "dialect" in the status of national vocal music. Hunan folk songs as an important tributary of China, a long history. Xiang dialect as one of China's seven major dialects, has an important role and unique charm. Hunan folk songs in the dialect of the use of dialects for the correct understanding of the impact of Hunan folk songs and role of color, and then deal with Hunan accurate and delicate folk songs in the vernacular, the concert full of artistic appeal, is of great significance. 

　　This paper describes the classification and characteristics of Hunan dialect, research and examples of the Hunan dialect in pronunciation, vocabulary how to apply two different forms of folk songs which in Hunan, and listed the time of the dialect in singing folk songs in several ways.
