摘要：作为维吾尔族最具代表性的民族舞蹈和文化代表，萨玛舞和其他传统的四种舞蹈“赛乃姆舞”、“刀郎舞”、“夏地亚纳舞”和“纳祖尔库木”共同被称为维吾尔族五大民间舞蹈，它也是维吾尔族劳动人民在年节时集体欢跳的一种民间舞蹈，动作朴实有力，优美动人，并以乐曲伴奏，对新疆维吾尔族文化的延续和发展有较大的影响，是带浓厚的宗教民俗色彩的民间舞蹈。本文通过对萨玛舞的舞蹈起源，发展变化，分类，风格特点、表演形式、历史价值、发展现状七方面来详细地阐述，探讨萨玛舞对维吾文化的作用和历史价值，让更多的人来了解萨玛舞。
