摘要:随着全球化进程的加速，各国在政治、经济、科技、文化等方面的交流空前频繁，相互影响，呈现出隔阂逐渐减小，词汇融汇的趋势。文化间的交流和相互包容会使许多异族词汇进入到本土词汇和文化中来，汉语中的英语外来词也不例外。外来词是外语中的借词，这些词构成了汉语词汇重要的一部分。在汉语所有的外来词中，英语外来词数量最多，影响最深。汉语中的英语外来词主要有音译词、意译词、半音译半意译词和字母词。汉语中的英语外来词经历了不同的发展阶段。本篇论文主要研究英语外来词发展的原因、应用领域、种类、对汉语的影响以及外来词的发展趋势，旨在帮助英语学习者更好地了解汉语中的英语外来词，提高外来词理解运用能力，以避免跨文化交际中的错误。
