ABSTRACT

Structural metaphor is using one conceptual structure to construct another concept, superposes the two concepts, and uses several of concepts of the vocabulary from source domain to talk about those from target domain. In the past, economic discourse has often been described as obscure Science. Because many economists advocate to use rigorous mathematical language to prove the scientific nature of economics. In this paper, we can find that, through the application of structural metaphor, the language of economics is becoming more emotional and vivid, to put the perceptual thinking first of the rational content, thereby increasing the persuasion and logic of the text.
