摘要:随着网络的广泛普及，网络流行语不断涌现和发展。作为时代的产物，网络流行语不仅反映了社会的发展，还在人们的生活中扮演着越来越重要的角色，并且极大地丰富了汉语词汇和中国文化。在全球化的背景下，网络流行语逐渐走出国门，受到西方社会的欢迎，其英译版本决定了目标语受众读者能否正确理解。因此，网络流行语的英译受到了广泛的关注。

本文将从网络流行语的成因、发展和特点入手，探究其重要性以及英译研究的必要性。整理现存网络流行语的英译版本，通过比较它们的好坏来总结其英译规律，并提出更好的翻译版本。最后结合已学翻译理论来探索总结网络流行语的英译方法，如直译、意译、加注、归化等，得出在翻译时应保留网络流行语的内含意义并结合其使用语境来选择合适的策略的结论。
