中文摘要：小学英语教育是学好英语的基础性工作。对于我国这样一个农村人口占大多数的国家来说，农村小学英语教育十分重要，但目前我国农村小学英语教育的现状并不乐观，整体教学水平不高，教学设施落后。如何提高小学英语教学质量成为农村学校待解决的一个难题。本文通过讨论农村小学英语教学现状，具体分析当前农村小学英语教学中存在的问题，并提出针对性的应对策略，有利于提升社会对农村小学英语的重视并在各个方面予以改进，提高农村小学英语教育质量，提升农村小学英语教学水平，培养农村小学生英语学习兴趣和提高学习效率。
