中文摘要:《小学英语课程标准》强调英语教学应从学生学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平为基础,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,使语言学习过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度,主动思维和大胆实践的过程。情境教学的直观形象性、寓教于乐性、注重学生认知的自主构建等特点符合英语课程标准的要求,并且该方法避免传统英语教学的弊端,有利于激发学生学习动机和兴趣以及创造力和想象力的发展。
本文通过分析情境教学在小学英语教学中应用的必要性的基础上,说明情境教学在新课程改革背景下的时代意义.通过资料分析,结合课堂观察,指出情境教学的不当之处,并加以分析从而给出相应的策略,希望能增强运用情境教学的正确性,加强小学生的语言综合运用能力,提高小学英语教学的质量。

Abstract:Primary School English Curriculum Standard emphasizes that English teaching should be based on the learning interest, life experience and cognitive level of students and advocates the learning method of experience, practice, participation, cooperation and communication to make language learning process as the process of forming positive emotion and attitudes, active thinking and bold practice. The characteristics of the visual image, the edutainment and the focus on autonomous construction of students' cognition of the situational teaching meet the requirements of Primary School English Curriculum. The teaching method is beneficial to arouse students’ learning motivation and interest, avoids the disadvantages of traditional English teaching and stimulates the development of students’ creativity and imagination.
The paper, based on analyzing the necessity of the application of situational teaching in primary school English teaching, demonstrates the contemporary significance of situational teaching under the background of new curriculum reform. Through material analysis and classroom observation, I point out problems of situational teaching and provide corresponding strategies, hoping to enhance the correctness of the application of situational teaching, improve students’ comprehensive language use ability and the quality of English teaching in primary schools.
