中文摘要：任务型教学是一种十分重要的教学方法，我国新课程改革提倡任务型教学，因此它在小学英语教学中的应用越来越广泛。新课程标准要求发展小学生的综合语言运用能力，特别是口语能力。小学是开展英语教学的起始阶段，应用任务型教学法进行教学尤其是口语教学具有积极的意义。在口语教学中，恰当运用任务型教学法对于培养学生英语语感，增强其语言综合运用能力有着极为明显的促进作用。本论文结合小学英语教学的特点和小学英语口语中的任务型教学实例，理论与实际相结合，运用文献法和实证法，重点探讨任务型教学法在小学英语口语教学中的运用；同时对实施的过程中可能出现的一些问题进行了分析研究，通过分析找出问题原因及解决办法，从而设计出符合个体学生差异和具体教学内容的任务，使得任务型教学法在小学英语口语的教学中日益完备。
