Abstract:The paper mainly explores the cultural connotation in translation of scenic spots introduction in Kunming city. As we all know that Introduction of tourist attractions plays an important role in spreading Chinese tourism culture. So, we must attach importance to translation skills. Because the scenic spot introduction can provide us the historical and cultural background of a region. And a brief introduction of a scenic spot can help us understand its development process and the significance of its existence. 

How to publicize the tourism culture of Kunming and promote the further development of Kunming tourism. This paper indicates that we have to pay attention to the translation of scenic spots, and spread excellent historical culture through the translation of scenic spots from language feature, cultural connotation and translation strategies. I hope that I will be helpful in research on tourism translations such as introductions to tourist attractions in the future.
