The novel develops in flashback.The novel Waiting Room is written by Donner who is a college student in United States. In this novel, the writer talks about Marley Anderson a 24-year-old columnist at Living Young magazine. She was at the top of her game until she became pregnant. She spent nine months being alone not really sure if she would able to be with a man again. That's until Jacob walks into her life. He treats her the way she wanted to be treated by a man for nine months. Marley keeps her guard up but will her fear keep Jacob in the waiting room while trying to get to her heart?

My task is to translate chapter 7-10 of this novel into Chinese in terms of content, ways, style and cultural differences. In these chapters, Luke knows that he has made a big mistake and he tries his best to win back Marley’s trust and he wants to take care of Marley and their daughter.Meanwhile,Marley is also very entangled with Luke.She isn’t sure whether she could make friend with Luke again. Furthermore,Jacob surely makes Marley moved.The story is about Marley’s emotion, life, friends and so on.
