Intercultural communication is an international new discipline, the academia regard The Silent Language of Edward Hall as a cornerstone of this subject. Edward first proposed “cultural prospective”, indicating his culture viewpoint like this: culture is transmission, transmission is culture. At the same time, this concept analyzes different dimensions of the non-verbal communication, such as the concept of time, space concept, facial expression, body movement and speech action. In his Beyond Culture (1989), Edward divided the high context and low context between asymmetric cultural communities, that is to say, communications spread through both direct and indirect methods. Since then, intercultural communication has been divided into anthropology, history, sociology, social psychology, communication, linguistics and many other disciplines. Intercultural consciousnesses have great subsequent impact on translation process.
