Abstract：Today, economic globalization phenomenons is a word development trend which is developing rapidly, causing a current hot topic among culture communication. Chinese folk customs is an integral part of Chinese culture. Interpretation on Chinese folk customs is playing an increasingly important role in culture communication.

   This paper mainly indicates the sustainable development of the interpretation on Chinese folk customs from the perspective of intercultural communication through a serious of demonstration. In the first place, the exact concept and connotation of Chinese folk customs. In addition, some main problems we confronted with have been fully discussed. Consequently, several measures for the interpretation on Chinese folk customs have been put forward as follow. Finally, strength the consciousness of the interpretation on Chinese folk customs, we should also take some measures.
