Abstract:In recent years, with the heated wave of singing red songs (revolutionary songs),Red tourism has emerged and prevailing in the country which becomes the focus of overseas, accelerating the heat of red tourism further. However, the quality of current red tourism translation materials is far away from visitors’ satisfaction. Plenty of problems and varied mess exist, which leads to visitor’s misunderstanding and wrong perception due to uncompleted information, even wrong translation. Then it will influence the quality and image of tourism spots, reducing the attraction to tourists. Therefore, it is quite urgent to study red tourism translation deeply to arouse the attraction of translation and propose solutions.
However, any translation theory must update with the changes of time and language in the social practice. The true purpose of translation is to meet social demand, and thus to promote communication. Intercultural communication translation is just the necessary tendency to meet the needs. The red tourism with Chinese characteristics is a typical intercultural communication activity, which is the product of particular time. Therefore, the awareness of intercultural communication plays an important role in red tourism translation.
This thesis tries to analyze the translation of Chinese red tourism commentary from the perspective of intercultural communication. The author proposes specific translation strategies to improve the quality of translation and publicize Chinese culture to attract more foreign tourists, to make Westerners understand Chinese red culture (the history of Chinese revolution) correctly, thus to enhance the international status of Chinese culture; promote communication and cooperation with other countries.

摘要:近年来,红色旅游悄然兴起并迅速升温,随着唱红歌的热潮的兴起,进一步提高了红色旅游的热度,使其成为海外游客旅游关注的热点。然而,当前汉语红色旅游材料的英译质量不尽如人意,翻译良莠不齐,问题颇多,使得传递的信息不完整,不准确,甚至错误,从而导致游客费解以及认知错误, 影响景点风貌和形象,降低对游客的吸引力。因此,有必要对红色旅游文本的翻译深入研究,以此唤起翻译的发起人及其译者的注意并提出解决方案。
任何翻译理论必须随着语言的社会实践的变化而更新发展。翻译的一个重要的目的就在于满足社会的需求,实现彼此的交流和沟通。跨文化交际翻译就正是能满足其需求的必然趋势。而具有中国特色的红色旅游就是一种典型的跨文化交际活动,跨文化意识在其红色旅游翻译中显得尤为重要。
本文尝试从跨文化交际角度分析中国红色旅游解说词的翻译,提出具体的翻译策略,目的在于提高红色旅游翻译的质量,宣传我国的文化,吸引更多的外来游客,从而使西方人能够正确理解中国红色文化(中国革命史),提升中国文化的国际地位,促进与各国的交流与合作。
