Abstract:This present article firstly presents some problems existing in students’ English-Chinese translation .So it’s very necessary for teachers to help students hold a proper attitude to translation, then this paper provides some feasible approaches for teachers to improve English-Chinese translation ability of students. First of all, the teacher should help students grasp correct learning strategies in order to set solid foundation in English learning. What’s more, the teacher had better adopt different kinds of teaching methods to input translation theory and some procedures of translation in classroom teaching. Besides, cultivating students’ abilities of thinking and expressing is suggested. Last but not least, the teacher should give more chances to students to practice translating.

摘要：本文首先提出了学生在英汉翻译中存在的几个问题。为此，教师很有必要帮助学生树立正确的翻译态度。接着，本文为教师提供了一些提高学生英汉翻译能力的方法：首先，为使学生在英语学习中打下坚实的基础，教师应该帮助学生掌握正确的学习策略；其次，在课堂中教师最好用不同的教学方法给学生传授翻译理论和翻译步骤；此外，教师还应该培养学生的思考与表达能力；最后，教师应该给学生提供更多的练习翻译的机会。
