Abstract：With the acceleration of globalization, the international trade gradually pushes towards the China inland areas. Under the new circumstances, the development of the foreign trade in the inland China is facing the new opportunities and challenges. Due to the geographical feature, the old trade terms have some risk when used in doing the foreign trade in the inland China. To choose the more appropriate trade terms is imperative under such a circumstance. So this paper，through the comparison between CIF and CIP, points out the limitations of the CIF and the advantages of CIP for inland international enterprises in doing the international trade. And then the author analyzes the features of the CIP especially issues to be concerned in the application of CIP. It is hoped to be helpful for the inland export trade to choose the proper trade term and to avoid the losses in international trade.

中文摘要：全球化贸易进程加快，国际贸易逐步向内陆地区推进。在这样的新形势下，西部的对外贸易面临着新的机遇和挑战。由于西部地区所处的环境条件，传统的对外贸易成交方式存在着诸多风险，采用有利的贸易术语势在必行。本文通过分析CIP与CIF的不同点、阐述CIP术语使用所要注意的问题和CIP在中国内陆贸易企业中与CIF相较下的优势，由此可以帮助中国内陆企业选择正确的贸易术语，在对外贸易上减少损失。
