Abstract：This thesis aims to solve the problems of translation of long sentences in English contracts. This thesis is composed of four parts. The first part is an introduction; the author intends to introduce the purpose and methodology of this thesis. In the second part, the author studies the causes and characteristics of long sentences in English contracts. In the third part, the author analyzes four translation techniques of long sentences by examples. The forth part is the conclusion. This thesis maintains, translators should adopt right techniques in translating long sentences in English contracts and make the rendition to be faithful to the original sentences’ meaning, and the techniques should be combined with professional knowledge.

摘要：本文旨在解决商务合同中长句的翻译问题。本文分为四个部分，第一部分为引言，主要介绍本文的写作目的和方法。第二部分主要研究长句的成因和特点。第三部分作者通过例句来分析四种长句常用的翻译方法。第四部分为结论，本文认为，在翻译英文商务合同中长句时，要采用正确的翻译方法，使译文忠实于原文，翻译技巧也需结合专业知识。
