Abstract:In recent years, middle school has a reform. Cultivating students’ creative thinking becomes a central issue for the vast number of teachers. How to cultivate students’ creative thinking in English teaching becomes an important problem. The paper puts forward the following teaching strategies: being an attractive teacher; teaching actively and creatively; good at guiding students; appraising students. By exploring some effective teaching methods for teachers, the paper is aimed at enriching some thinking on creative thinking in English teaching so that we can improve students’ ability to get information in English, to deal with the information and solve the problem, and develop their ability of using English eventually.

中文摘要:随着社会的发展，科技的进步，近年来，中学里实行了教育体制改革。培养学生的创新思维能力成为了大多数教师讨论的中心话题。“在英语教学中培养学生的创新能力”成为了当今社会的一个重要问题。本文就“怎样教”提出了以下建议：使自己成为一个具有吸引力的教师；让所上的课更具有生动性和创新性；善于指导学生以及建立表扬机制。本文通过对一些专家与学者的教学法的研究与总结，为教师提供了一些有效的创新性教法。从而提高教学质量，培养了学生自学的能力，解决问题的能力， 提高了他们学习英语的兴趣。
