Abstract:The Western Movement has had a profound impact on the United States, including economics, culture, ecology, the rule of law, social and national spirit. This is one of the landmark events in American history. This process is a process of economic development, a unique feature of the American Industrial Revolution, and a process of hard work by the American people, shaping the national spirit of the American people and promoting the continued development of the United States. This article argues that the Western Movement has cultivated the Americans' temptation to move and take risks, and has also developed American democratic ideology. Therefore, the Westward Movement will be discussed in depth from the above three aspects. Many outstanding scholars in the world have made wonderful discussions on the Western Movement. On this basis, I will study the Western Movement from a new perspective. I hope this article can make more Scholars interested in American culture have gained in-depth understanding and inspiration.
