Abstract: This paper mainly studies about the influence of God’s Time in the World on English vocabulary. God’s Time in the World is a book about Greek mythology. This paper studied through the research literature method and experience summary method. There are three major causes have been found, including English Etymology, English glossary and word formation. After studying and researching this thesis, we can prove that the Greek mythology have far-reaching influence on English vocabulary. These strategies are supposed to help people learn about the origins of English words.
