Abstract:Family education is absolutely an important part of education system. The values and concepts of parents will unconsciously influence their children during their educating. Therefore, family education can have a great influence to the children on the development of personality and the formation of thinking model and worldview. American family education is characterized by its features of democracy, freedom and equality, setting a good example of family education for the other countries. This paper takes the movie Little Miss Sunshine as an example to make a basic study on American family education which inspires the family education in China.
