Abstract:Gone with the Wind has been studied from many perspectives since its publication. This paper attempts to interpret the eco-feminism awareness in this novel. Eco-feminism is first put forward in the 1970s and it advocates the pursuit of gender quality and environmental sustainability. The common eco-feminist idea is the recognition of the relationship between the domination of nature and the domination of women. Readers can find this idea in Gone with the Wind if they carefully read this novel. This paper firstly introduces Margaret Mitchell and this novel and the background information of eco-feminism. The previous studies on this topic are presented. Then, it interprets the female awareness, the ecological awareness, and the eco-feminism awareness in this novel respectively. Scarlett’s individuality and independence in this novel reflects the female awareness. Scarlett’s transformational relationship with the earth and integration with the nature in this novel reflects the ecological awareness. The eco-feminism awareness is mainly reflected by the feminized nature and the naturalized female and the similar hardships experienced by female and nature in this novel. It is hoped that this paper can help readers have a deeper understanding of eco-feminist awareness in Gone with the Wind.

摘要：自从出版后，《飘》已经从多角度被研究过。本文试图解读该小说中的生态女性主义意识。生态女性主义兴起于20世纪70年代，它倡导对性别平等和环境的可持续性的追求。生态女性主义的普遍观点是对自然统治与女性统治之间关系的认可。如果读者仔细阅读该小说，他们会发现《飘》这部小说也表达了这一观点。本文首先介绍了玛格丽特·米切尔和这部小说以及生态女性主义的背景知识，并介绍了有关该课题的前人研究。然后，本文分别对小说中的女性意识，生态意识，和生态女性主义意识进行了解读。小说中斯嘉丽的个性特征和独立性体现了女性意识；斯嘉丽和土地的转换关系以及斯嘉丽和自然的融合体现了生态意识；女性化的自然，自然化的女性，以及女性和自然经历的相同遭遇反映了生态女性主义意识。希望本文的研究可以帮助读者更深刻地理解《飘》中的生态女性主义意识。
