Abstract:With the development of scientific technology and popularization of English, the Internet, as an efficient and convenient way of communication, attracts more and more people. In Internet communication, code-switching has been an irreplaceable part. So, studying the old topic of code-switching in the new context of Internet is necessary and important.
Based on the former research results, the thesis will study the phenomenon of Chinese-English code-switching in Internet communication and focus on the following questions: the classification and characteristics of Chinese-English code-switching in Internet communication; the causes of Chinese-English code-switching in Internet communication and the functions of Chinese-English code-switching in Internet communication.
