Abstract:Cooperative learning is a form of small groups to achieve common goals through cooperation and used as a teaching strategy. Cooperative learning plays an active role in improving classroom atmosphere, students’ academic records, and in promoting the development of good teaching methods. The effect of cooperative learning is remarkable. However, with the continuous optimization of the network environment, the subject of the traditional cooperative learning gets expanded. Learners can not only share the abundant information resources, but also can communicate through the Internet, which break through the limitations of regions and time. Therefore, this thesis intends to study the mode of cooperative learning under network environment.
The thesis firstly describes the definition of cooperative learning and Web-based learning, then it studies the models and the application of cooperative learning under network environment. At last the thesis presents the significances of cooperative learning under network environment.
