Abstract:As a variant of English language, English news has been separated from the common English. With its own characteristics of vocabulary, grammar and rhetoric, English news has also displayed its particular literary form in its topic, lead and main body. Learning the English news language thoroughly and comprehensively would help us when reading, understanding and translating it. The whole passage focuses on the English-Chinese news translation, beginning from the basic concepts of both translation and English news translation, ending with some specific translation skills based on practical examples to describe the process of its translation. At the same time, the characteristics of English news and how to translate it according to its vocabulary, grammar and rhetoric characteristics will be explained in this article.
