Abstract: The thesis starts with a brief introduction of Bacon’s essay Of Studies and its two Chinese versions. Then the author turns to elaborate the concept of translators’ subjectivity and the  translating approaches guided by the concept. On the basis of this, the author compares two Chinese versions of the essay Of Studies from the aspects of content, style and translation strategies.

摘要：本文首先分析《谈读书》原文及两个中文译本，然后对文学翻译中的译者主体性理论进行阐释，并结合文学翻译中的其他相关理论进行说明，最后通过比较两种译本的内容、风格及翻译手法，分析了文学翻译中译者主体性对译本产生的影响。
