Abstract: English business contract is an agreement enforced by law. It concerns the economic activities of different countries, different enterprises and different organizations. As a sub-variety of Legal English, it plays an increasingly important role in our social life. The special expressions used in English contract are difficult for non-professionals to understand. In order to understand them, we need a more systematic way. But the study of the syntactic features of contract English is limited. The syntactic feature of contract English, to my mind, is a more neglected area in contract English. This paper examines the syntactic feature of contract English by means of a lot of examples.

摘要：合同就是存在于双方或多方当事人之间的具有法律强制力的协议。在当今社会中，合同对我们是非常重要的。整个经济，甚至整个社会体系都建立于它之上。为了更好的理解英语合同，我们需要一套专业体系的方法。但是合同的句法特点通常被我们忽略。本文，通过引用许多例子阐述了论文的句法特点。
