Abstract:With the continuing development of Chinglish, more and more people are aware of its maturity, worrying that it would be a popular language trend. But on the other side, it is gradually accepted by the foreigners, thinking that it is a very interesting cultural phenomenon. Anyway, Chinglish has its practical value to the society that nobody can obliterate. Instead, we should hold a positive attitude towards it and learn to avoid using it in the formal situation. This dissertation aims to introducing the history and philosophy traceability of Chinglish, its formation and development, its characteristics and stating the attitude towards it. The essay draws conclusions from the Humboldt’s Theory, some viewpoints of the other scholars and the opinions of the people from network, which in help of profoundly highlighting the points. It is hoped that the findings of the dissertation will provide insights into the comprehension of Chinglish and gives some inspiration for the communication.

中文摘要:随着中式英语的不断发展，越来越多的人开始关注他的成熟发展是否会成为一个流行的语言趋势。但在另一方面，它不断地被外国人所接受，他们认为这是一个有趣的文化现象。无论如何，中式英语对社会还是有它的实际意义，这是没有人能够扼杀的。然而，我们应该抱着正确的角度对待它，并且应该学会避免在正式场合出现中式英语。本文分别从洪堡特理论与其他学者的见解，世人对中式英语的看法等方面进行描述性和解释性研究。希望文本的研究结果能够让读者对中式英语有更好的理解，提供启发和帮助。
