Abstract:  Based on the previous study, this paper will analyze the status-quo of C-E public signs translation and coping measures of Chinese-English public signs translation. It is maintained that improvement has been made on the public signs translation, but some errors still exist in the C-E translation of public signs. In the thesis, some examples of errors in the C-E translation of public signs are listed, such as word for word translation, redundancy, misused vocabulary and so on. Following the summary of errors in public signs translation, some coping measures are pointed out on the translation of public signs. Finally, it is suggested that the C-E translation of public signs requires efforts and strategies to make the translation accurate.

摘要：基于先前的研究，本论文将着重分析公示语汉英翻译的现状及相关的翻译策略。虽然公示语翻译已有一定的改进，但是公示语汉英翻译中仍存在一定的错误。在该论文中，公示语汉英翻译中的一些错误被列出来，例如逐字翻译、累赘、词语误用等。随后，作者也提出相应的翻译策略。最后，作者总结得出，公示语汉英翻译需要译者的努力和相关翻译策略，才能使其翻译更加准确。
