Abstract:Under the sunlight of the new century, human interaction is becoming increasingly frequent. Speech, as the product of the times, has been paid greater attention. Good speeches will not only allow the speaker in manners of high-quality, high-level, high-efficiency to spread his or her message out, but can also fully display a speaker's demeanor, temperament, knowledge, wisdom and a full range of image. It is of great significance for personal and social development. Unfortunately, many do not possess effective techniques of public speaking. When addressing, they have no idea how to make their voice astonishes the audience, have their body language give distinction to what he says and let their eyes shines the speech. Besides, they don’t know how to stimulate listener’s thoughts. In other words, they are in lack of skills of delivering an amazing speech.

This paper fixes its research on public speech-making on a basis of unifying theory and practice. Through an exposition of the definitions, features, functions, the status quo and existing problems of public speaking, then it takes Barack ·Obama victory speech as an example, systematically analysis his successful speech-making strategies. In the latter part of this thesis, the paper comes up with some compelling strategies in terms of preparation, opening style, facial expression, body languages, sound language and the closure, dedicating to providing the general public with effective public speaking techniques.

中文摘要:在新世纪阳光照射下，人类交往日益频繁，演讲作为时代的产物日益受到人们的重视。良好的演讲不仅能让演讲者以高质量、高水平、高效率方式把信息传达出去，而且良好的演讲还能充分展示演讲者的风度、气质、学识、智慧、素质等全方位的形象。它对个人乃至社会的发展有极大意义。遗憾的是，社会大众很多都不具备演讲的有效技巧。他们不知道如何在演讲中做到让眼神为演讲增精彩，让声音为演讲添感情，让肢体语言使演讲引人入胜，怎样做到扣开听众的心灵等等。

本论文从演讲层面切入，以理论与实际结合为基础，在阐述演讲的定义、特征、作用、普遍性和存在问题后，再以巴拉克·奥巴马的胜利演说为例，系统地分析了他成功的演讲技巧。在论文的后部分，通过结合当前演讲普通存在的问题和巴拉克·奥巴马的成功演讲技巧，进而从演讲前的准备、开场式、面部表情、肢体语言、声音语调、结尾六个方面提出了适合大众的创新演讲策略。
