Abstract:English adjectives seem simple, but actually quite complicated in usage. Their position, function and meaning are sometimes very confusing to the learners of English because of the differences from Chinese adjective. Fail to understand their difference often lead to improper treatment in E-C translation. To help people understand the problem better, the paper makes a comparison of adjectives between English and Chinese and gives some advice for the translation of English adjectives.
