Abstract：With the development of modern technology and the popularization of Internet, the communication between China and foreign countries becomes more and more frequent. As a result, more and more excellent movies and television programs are introduced into China. Under such circumstances, subtitle translation is of great importance to us. As a branch of comedy, sitcoms have its unique features, among which humor is an important one. So we have to pay special attention to the translation of humor in English sitcoms. Based on Adaptation Theory, this paper intends to study the translation of humor existing in the newly popular American sitcom called The Big Bang Theory from linguistic context and communicative context. It is hoped that this paper can present some effective translation strategies, offering some help for other researchers.

摘要：随着现代科技的进步和互联网的普及，中外文化交流日益频繁，越来越多世界各国优秀的影视作品被引入我国。因此字幕翻译就成为我们理解这些影视作品的重要助手。而情景喜剧作为影视作品中一个重要的类别，幽默是其鲜明的特征。因此幽默翻译在情景喜剧作品的字幕翻译中尤其引起我们的重视。本文运用顺应理论为指导，以新近流行的美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》第六季为案例，从语言语境和交际语境两个层面，探讨顺应论在情景喜剧幽默字幕翻译中的应用以及可行的翻译策略，尝试为字幕翻译的研究提供一个新的角度。
