Abstract:This paper is dedicated to exploring the different perspectives of children and adults in The Little Prince. From Asteroid B-612, the little prince shows human nature by viewing things from the aspect of a child. When encountering these different people and things, the little prince says something meaningful words and takes actions, which forms the obvious contrast of different perspectives of children and adults. The paper will analyze the different perspectives of children and adults in the novel. Firstly, the different criteria of children and adults will be shown. Then, different typical characteristics of adults will be illustrated through the little prince’s experiences on different planet. After that, the paper will suggest that the little prince thinks highly of the lamplighter because of his virtue. Lastly, the paper will tell the reader that the little prince learns the meaningful lessons, resulting from his experience and his counterparts. 

　　　Except the lamplighter, the little prince is uninterested in any activities that the adults are taking up because his perspective is different from those of the adults’. Therefore, the conclusion can be reached that it is workable for adults to think in the position of their children so that they can understand and communicate with children well.

摘要:本论文主要关注并分析《小王子》中成人与儿童的不同视角。来自B-612星球的小王子，通过儿童的视角看问题，体现出人的本性，从而与成人形成了鲜明的对比。论文将通过小王子在不同星球遇见不同人和事时所说的话与所做的事，比较成人与儿童的不同视角。本文将通过四个部分诠释成人与儿童的不同视角。第一部分是比较成人与儿童衡量事物的标准。第二部分是通过小王子在不同星球的经历，阐述成人的典型特征。第三部分是阐述小王子因点灯人的良好道德品质而对其产生的敬佩之情。第四部分是描述通过在不同星球的经历，小王子明白了深刻的道理。

　　　除点灯人之外，小王子对居住在任何一个星球上的成人所从事的活动都不感兴趣。原因在于，他和成人的视角不同。最后研究者得出结论：成人应该换位思考，即尽量站在儿童的立场上思考问题，因为这样才能理解儿童，并与之进行良好的沟通。
