Abstract:The thesis makes a contrastive study on three English versions of Chaitoufeng by Lu You from three aspects (Construction of Mood, Loss and Compensation of information and Superiority of Target Language). Integrating the historical background of the original and the mood of the poet at that time, this thesis discusses the merits and demerits of the three English versions in the process of constructing the original mood, the loss and compensation of information and the extent to which translators give scope to the target language. This thesis concludes that in verse translation translators should, based on the construction of the original mood, lessen losses for compensation and give full scope to the superiority of the target language.

中文摘要:本文从三个方面（意境的构建，信息的丢失与补偿以及译入语的优势）对陆游诗《钗头凤》的三个英文译本进行比较分析。结合原著的历史背景和诗人当时的心境，讨论了不同版本在意境的构建，信息的丢失与补偿以及译入语优势的发挥三个方面存在的优缺点，总结出诗歌翻译应在构建原著意境的基础上，力求减少丢失、实现补偿，同时发挥译入语的优势。
