摘要：在余华的作品《兄弟》中，林红是贯穿两个时代的女性形象，她既是清纯美好的少女，是美的化身；又是幸福贤惠的人妻，勇敢追求自己的幸福；同时还是迷失自我的荡妇，深陷于欲望的漩涡。三个反差强烈的形象集于这个女人一身，让林红的人生甘苦相溶，林红将这样复杂的人生展现在众人面前时也利用这三个形象撕下了刘镇众人虚伪的文化面纱，见证了宋钢的幸福、迷失与绝望，更帮余华完成了对“伦理颠覆、浮躁纵欲”的时代的否定。余华将林红融入了“文革”这一禁欲时代，又让她用欲望亲自演绎了“现代”这个纵欲的时代。

《兄弟》这部作品是余华的转型之作，在整部作品中我们看到了余华笔下两个时代中的两个兄弟的十几年情谊，但是也被羁绊他们情谊的女性角色—林红吸引着。对于林红的认识，在很多文学研究者的作品中都有体现。关于林红鲜明的三种形象：纯情的少女，幸福的少妇，迷失的荡妇。不仅在作品中有明显的陈述，而且研究者也均统一了这一观点。

之前的研究者主要论述了林红的三种形象，具体探究了这三种人生构成的人生轨迹。通过三种形象揭示那个时代的特点，而我在论文中将林红作为一个见证者和揭露者进行论述，肯定了林红形象对时代的欲望的揭露，也重新审视了她作为一个见证者和旁观者的形象所带有的批判作用；在宋钢被时代推向死亡的原因探究中，我也将时代这一主要原因更加深入地延伸到林红形象对宋钢命运的影响。
