摘要：五胡乱华后的中原地区战乱频繁，各少数民族纷纷建立自己的政权，战争成为这一时代的主题，十六国民歌在这一战乱背景为我们展示了一幅社会画卷。文章通过对十六国民歌中对战争的残酷与尚武精神的描写，社会底层人民的生活的展露，如对世态炎凉的讥讽，旅人思想等以及在对婚姻爱情吟咏上与南方民歌截然不同的对比分析中进一步解析十六国民歌。试图通过这一时期的民歌来更深层次的了解这一时期的社会百态。
