[摘要] 欧阳修是中国北宋时期的一代文坛巨匠、政坛重臣。历来不乏后世学者对他进行研究。但是在对欧阳修作为政治家、经学家、史学家、古文大家、宋诗风格倡导者等方面的形象被有意识地拔高、经典化,而对他人生性格的全面探究则似乎被有意无意的忽视。

　　   有鉴于此，本文在承认既有的欧阳修形象之合理性的前提下, 加强私领域内心的表达而不只是公领域价值的体现，从时代背景、个人经历、思想传承等方面探究，深入发掘出欧阳修具有金刚怒目与平易近人并存、旷达洒脱与患得患失并存等多面的性格，力求给读者还原展示出一个真实自然的六一居士。
