摘要：中国画具有悠久的历史，区别于西方的油画，有着独特的绘画风格和表现方式。中国画不像西方的油画强调色彩的冲击，它用淡淡的笔墨给我们描绘出一个个充满想象空间的世界。而这个充满想象的空间很大程度上要归功于“留白”，这个中国传统艺术的表现手法，中国画中最常用的技法之一。留白是中国书画艺术中不可缺少的构成因素，由它所形成的画面，能够引起无限想象的空间，这正是画家的高明之处，它给观赏者留下了回味的余地。留白不是随随便便的空白，而是一种技法并含有一定的禅意，这也是一种“舍与得”和“空与色”的体现。结合本专业的学习，发现近年来国内拍卖市场大热的仍然是中国古代书画，故本文旨在更深入的研究和探索留白的产生、意义及其未来的发展，这对于了解中国古代绘画和现代艺术的各个领域都着深远的影响和意义。

Abstract：Chinese painting has a long history, different from western painting, has a unique way of painting style and performance. Unlike western oil painting emphasizes the impact of the color of Chinese painting, it uses light ink paint to us a world full of imagination. The imaginative space owes much to "stay white", the technique of expression of Chinese traditional art, one of the most commonly used techniques in Chinese painting. White space is indispensable in Chinese painting and calligraphy art form factors, formed by it, can cause infinite thinking, imagination, this is what a painter of genius, it leaves the viewer aftertaste. White space is not just the blank, but kind of techniques and contain a certain amount of zen, it is also a "Give up and get" and "empty and color". Combined with my professional learning, found that in recent years, the domestic sale market of remains of ancient Chinese calligraphy and painting, therefore, the purpose of this paper is to further research and exploration of white space, significance and the development of the future, for the understanding of ancient Chinese painting and the profound influence to every field of modern art and meaning.
