摘要:马奈在《伯热尔大街丛林酒吧》中描绘了闪闪发光诱人的商品—酒以及时尚的酒吧女郎，绚烂浮华的场景都呈现在了作为背幕的镜子里。然而从开头段落中，我们不难看出来，画家要表现的构成他的画面的一切要素，都是他的人工为之，并且与其华丽的背景透着隐隐的不和谐感。

这些形象大部分都比不上吧台上的酒品来的清晰，却构成了这幅画中最让人着迷的因素。巴黎的主流文化、画家的生平阅历与作画时的思想状态，由他笔下的巴黎女子形象中隐含的个人追求，意味与不变的内涵，这些都可以在画面中摸索，或是由此来细读画作。

自成名作《草地上的午餐》开始，他引起众人广泛关注的争议之作多为女子形象，并且他所描绘的女性角色在那个时代也代表了某种特殊的象征意义。
