摘要：在沿海大开发的战略背景之下，拥有得天独厚优势的东方深水大港——洋口港面临怎样的际遇。文章首先介绍了洋口港的现状，并指出其面临的一些问题，随后借助SWOT理论模型分析了洋口港具备的优势，发展的劣势，遇到的机会和面临的威胁，以及“优势—机会”“劣势--威胁”等组合分析，探讨了洋口港未来发展的战略选择，如何扬长避短，发挥综合效益，进而提出港口与城市统筹规划，着眼于新一代港口的功能定位，加强港口岸线资源开发提升整体能力，充分发展信息化，大力引进人才和资金，并与周边港口双赢的战略规划。
