摘要：国运兴衰，系于教育。而数学是锻炼思维的体操，一直以来，数学被广泛的运用于各个领域，每个国家的发展都离不开数学领域的伟大贡献。因此作为一门最为基础的学科，不论是中国还是美国，都非常注重数学教育的发展。由于两国的历史，文化，社会背景的差异，造成两国的数学教育的不同。为了更好的促进数学教育的发展，许多学者就中美数学教育不同之处进行对比，包括数学教育的课程的对比，数学教育目的，内容的对比等各个方面。
