内容摘要： 著有“幽默大师”之称的林语堂将幽默融入小品文的创作，将小品文的审美品格提升到新的境界，他的小品文具有两点内涵：第一、宽容超脱的胸怀，第二、闲适自然的情愫；并且，他的小品文亲切自然，娓语笔调，亦庄亦谐，幽默有趣，语言平实，平中有奇，具有鲜明的特色。然而，大师的幽默是深沉的，严肃的，悲剧的，他的幽默小品文是具有悲剧色彩的，他运用幽默、诙谐的笔调反映严肃的话题，指向官僚体制及官本位的种种丑态、国民劣行、现代教育的种种弊端。

　　林语堂将幽默融入小品文的创作，将小品文的审美品格提升到新的境界。他的小品文具有两点内涵：第一、宽容超脱的胸怀，第二、闲适自然的情愫；他的小品文亲切自然，娓语笔调，亦庄亦谐，幽默有趣，语言平实，平中有奇，具有鲜明的特色。并且，大师的幽默是深沉的，严肃的，悲剧的，导致幽默悲剧性的原因与当时官本体制的种种丑态、国民劣行及现代教育的各种弊端是分不开的。本文着重论述林语堂幽默小品文的内涵、特色及悲剧色彩。
